More pictures of the family in England

Rob and I in the fields above the village:

Dad being ferried down the Cam in a punt:

There are two people missing from these pictures: my stepmom Judi, who took most of them; and my husband "T" who thinks blogs are silly and wishes to maintain online anonymity.

.finit.amen.finit.

All's well that ends well. This was a few months ago but I felt so mixed-up about it at the time- up to my elbows in grey meat boiled in instant brown gravy at work- that I didn't post the pictures until now. But at a certain care home in a certain bedroom community outside the M25 there has been a doctor in the house since May, and yes, her job involves asking 'You want chips with that, luv?' Or at least it did until last week when I fried the guts of the fryolator by turning it on without realising that the oil hadn't been replaced. Like putting a prohibited weapon 'beyond use'. It was an accident but I'd have done it on purpose months ago if I'd thought about it. Forget that. Grandma made a journey of nearly 10,000 miles roundtrip to be there for the graduation and I'll remember that until I die.

Great Falls

My stepbrother Dan (emphasis on brother and de-emphasis on the step part) took this picture a few days after New Years when we were both home visiting our parents. We'd both been taken on family hiking expeditions to Great Falls when we were children.

By peer pressure brought low

Hi everyone. I'm setting this up so I can respond to other people's blogs and maybe post a few pictures and recipes now and then. We'll see how it goes. Right now I hate myself for bowing to peer pressure over this whole blog thing and may never post again. Love, Flo
